Re: Economy update maybe? - general
There hasn't been much changing recently as I've been waiting for whatever the heck the situation with the map they're trying to do is. I might start implementing work efficiency soon though.

Sign up process for the economy once it launches - general
How you'll sign up for the economy has been decided! It'll be just a username and passcode, but then you have to verify your economy account with your voter code and reddit username, it'll check the voter code and username set against an internal database of voter codes and scan your reddit account then automatically approve you if the code and reddit profile look good. If not it'll be manually reviewed by a member of the balance team.

Still heavily WIP but announcing a search engine that you help improve the results for as you search! Currently limited to ARPD websites and Quixim but soon you'll be able to submit any CORS compatable site and it'll be crawled: https://search.zerr.cc/

I've noticed people are using @aquixim for homework and such. Please note (no offense to aquixim) while it can answer basic questions it's incredibly stupid compared to something like ChatGPT. For context aquixim uses a 8b parameter model, free-tier ChatGPT uses an ~175B parameter model, and paid ChatGPT models parameter count isn't public but is estimated to be in excess of a trillion.

Introducing @aquixim - Developer announcement
Introducing @aquixim an AI assistant that's only slightly less smart clone of Grok that currently only can see text. (So don't mess with it by trying to submit images while using it) to use aquixim simply write "@aquixim" anywhere in the body of your post and it'll respond in a threaded post after it. Now I'll let aquixim take over. Would you like to introduce yourself?

DuxOm & Quixima - Developer announcement
First of all DuxOm has been un-banned with probation. That means if he so much as uses the f word he'll be banned (Unpopular but not being able to troll him is boring). Secondly Quixima has been added. Quixima is like Reddit's karma except with a crappy calculation and it only updates once a day at midnight. You can see a user's Quixima on their profile.

On Quixim being registered - Developer announcement
Since this platform has been renamed to Quixim some have been wondering when: a: a Quixim domain like Quixim.dev will be registered, and b: when Quixim will be registered as a brand. The answer to the former is hopefully soon, I plan to buy a domain for Quixim for at least a 5 year term. The answer to the second is sadly no time soon. I looked into it and registered Quixim as a brand would (on the low end) cost $500-1000 which is a bit pricey for a small platform like this.

FBSN is now Quixim™ - Developer announcement
FBSN (Standing for Form-Based Social Network) was more of a early developmental name for this site. Now that it's passed the 20 user mark and is used "Seriously" (Not one message a day) I've decided to finally give it a name. That name is "Quixim", it's short, memorable, and isn't related to any (known) existing product.

re: re: Dev message - general
The coordinates *are* client location. However it's not GPS, just IP address. So it's likely wherever your ISP operates from. But beware it still gives a *general* location (eg. part of country) which can be used to narrow down a search. Like if rainbolt was guessing where your house is from a single selfie and had it narrowed down to that general region of France it would take a lot less time.

There's not many issues with it to make it "Good enough" the only two things I spot right-away are: The list of names should be shifted up a bit & those images in the bottom right should have rounded corners or otherwise be styled.

Future FBSN features. - Developer announcement
FBSN (the platform you're on now) is incredibly barebones / early stages right now. So I thought I'd share some of the features I currently plan to add: - post threads/replies - distinct categories / channels of posts. Think discord channels. - better admin tools & tools for users to edit and manage their posts after they initially post it. - voting/liking of posts & comments - post analytics so you can see how many people have viewed your post & how many people have liked/disliked i
