On Quixim being registered - Developer announcement
Since this platform has been renamed to Quixim some have been wondering when: a: a Quixim domain like Quixim.dev will be registered, and b: when Quixim will be registered as a brand. The answer to the former is hopefully soon, I plan to buy a domain for Quixim for at least a 5 year term. The answer to the second is sadly no time soon. I looked into it and registered Quixim as a brand would (on the low end) cost $500-1000 which is a bit pricey for a small platform like this.

FBSN is now Quixim™ - Developer announcement
FBSN (Standing for Form-Based Social Network) was more of a early developmental name for this site. Now that it's passed the 20 user mark and is used "Seriously" (Not one message a day) I've decided to finally give it a name. That name is "Quixim", it's short, memorable, and isn't related to any (known) existing product.

Secondary link - Developer announcement
The main (non-subdomain) https://zerr.cc/ has been an error-page service for quite a while now as I couldn't think of anything to do with it. But now that FBSN is starting to be a coherent site I'm officially moving the root zerr.cc domain to serve the FBSN. (fbsn.zerr.cc will still work)

re: re: Dev message - general
The coordinates *are* client location. However it's not GPS, just IP address. So it's likely wherever your ISP operates from. But beware it still gives a *general* location (eg. part of country) which can be used to narrow down a search. Like if rainbolt was guessing where your house is from a single selfie and had it narrowed down to that general region of France it would take a lot less time.

There's not many issues with it to make it "Good enough" the only two things I spot right-away are: The list of names should be shifted up a bit & those images in the bottom right should have rounded corners or otherwise be styled.

I'll take a look at it. Though in the future please message me privately at me@tgua.dev or censor before posting. That error page contains your approximate location.

Yeah, though not quite as big as you'd think. This entire site is ~800 lines.

On "no recent post" notice. - Developer announcement
Yeah, you probably didn't notice it before because I added it ~2 hours ago. I thought I'd take some time to add some nice quality-of-life features like that & even (Coming soon) notifications / an inbox where you can see when someone replies to your post. Though that's a WIP.

I highly doubt it. According to my admin console only 6 people are registered on FBSN.

Fixed it - general
It was a problem with hidden tags where the html comment syntax was passed inline & half the page got commented out. I'll need to update it so hidden tags aren't passed to the client at all.

Let me state this again: "gay" added that tag, not me. I only gave you the "beta tester" flag.

I claim plausible deniability on that. I gave "gay" admin perms bc he asked for them.

Just posted that update... Apparent posts don't preserve newlines so the bullet list is screwed up. I'll make sure to fix that later.

Future FBSN features. - Developer announcement
FBSN (the platform you're on now) is incredibly barebones / early stages right now. So I thought I'd share some of the features I currently plan to add: - post threads/replies - distinct categories / channels of posts. Think discord channels. - better admin tools & tools for users to edit and manage their posts after they initially post it. - voting/liking of posts & comments - post analytics so you can see how many people have viewed your post & how many people have liked/disliked i

I can't resist the urge to try this. - general
The electric nightmare this would (not) cause is amazing. It'd actually work, modern adapters are both 120 and 240v so... The only issue would be to if the male end physically stays in that loose- receptacle.
